Glass Spirits

Suzie Reed began her love of glass in early 2001 when she took a Beginners class at The Stained Glass Studio in Clearwater Florida.  She actually took the class for the purpose of  learning how to solder so she could create metal sculptures. She didn't know this would begin a true love affair with glass in every form.

Finding her true talent, she started expressing her creativity with stained glass panels and then experimented with some 3D objects such as Kaleidoscopes and Metal & Glass sculptures.

 In 2004 she learned the art of lampworking and has made some unique glass jewelry as a result.

In 2006, with the sale of a large stained glass panel Suzie purchased a glass kiln. Adding the fused pieces into a stained glass panel opened up a whole new realm of glass work for her.

Etsy is similar to Ebay but it is for handmade items only and you can find the most unique gifts by truly creative and gifted artists there.

My Focus

  "Each piece I make is commissioned for a specific client and designed for that client's purpose with the architectural setting in mind. My goal is to design a piece of artwork that represents my passion for glass yet speaks worlds about the client."
